What this is
It is a masterclass about self-abandonment. The specific, uncomfortable, very common pattern of leaving yourself to keep the peace, to be lovable, to not be too much, to not take up too much space. To be the person who always shows up for others and very rarely for themselves.
Isabel has lived this. Not theoretically. She moved countries, ended relationships that were slowly making her disappear, and left a family system that didn't see her. She knows what self-abandonment looks like from the inside, in the body, in the moment you silence your own voice to keep someone else comfortable.
In 90 minutes, she will show you where this pattern lives in you, why insight alone has never been enough to shift it, and what it actually takes to become someone who no longer needs to be convinced to choose themselves.
Inside the masterclass
The moment you realise it has a name.
People-pleasing, overthinking, overworking, staying too long in the wrong thing. These are not different problems. They are the same problem wearing different clothes. The name is self-abandonment. In this first part you will see exactly how it shows up for you, not just in your decisions but in your body. The gut discomfort at the start of a new relationship. The exhaustion that doesn't lift with rest. The inability to say no, and the quiet, creeping forgetting of what you even want. This is the moment people describe as: 'I didn't have words for it until now.'
“You have not been failing at self-care. You have been doing something much older and much harder to unlearn.”
Where self-abandonment actually lives.
Here is the part no one else is connecting. Self-abandonment is not a thought pattern. It is a body pattern. It lives in the tight jaw you carry out of difficult conversations. The collapsed chest when someone raises their voice. The way you leave your own body during conflict. Isabel brings her somatic training to something people already feel but cannot name. EFT, breathwork, embodiment — not framed as healing tools. Framed as the actual practice of choosing yourself, in the moment, in your body, when everything in you is trained to choose everyone else.
“The nervous system does not respond to insight. It responds to practice. This is where the practice starts.”
Becoming someone who no longer abandons themselves.
This is where Isabel's story goes. She moved to Portugal not because it was easy but because staying would have been the biggest act of self-betrayal of her life. She ended relationships that were slowly making her disappear. She left a family system that didn't see her. She built something from scratch, in a country she barely knew, in a language she was still learning. The third part of this masterclass is about what it actually takes to become someone who chooses themselves, not as a concept, not as an affirmation, but as a lived, embodied identity. You will leave with a clear next step.
“Choosing yourself is not a personality trait. It is a practice. And like all practices, it starts with one honest moment.”
This is for you if
This is not for you if
“I arrived experiencing late-stage burnout, exhausted and depleted, but left with a profound shift from scarcity to empowerment. It fundamentally changed how I viewed parts of myself and what was possible.”

Isabel teaches this because she has lived it, not as a chapter in her past, but as the thread that runs through everything she builds. She moved countries, started over in a language she was still learning, and ended the relationships and family dynamics that were, slowly, asking her to disappear.
She did not do this because it was easy. She did it because she had finally learned to recognise what self-abandonment feels like from the inside — not as a dramatic breakdown, but as the quiet daily decision to make herself smaller so someone else could feel bigger.
Her work sits at the intersection of somatic therapy, EFT, yoga and social anthropology. She has guided more than 500 people across 13 retreats and two yoga teacher trainings in Portugal and the Himalayas. She does not teach what she has read. She teaches what she has moved through.
