Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Full payment is required if your booking is made within one month of your retreat start date.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. We would like to remind you of this before completing your booking.

While it is unlikely that we will need to make changes to retreat bookings, we reserve the right to do so at any time. We will inform you as early as possible should this be necessary.

We reserve the right to resell any rooms if full payment has not been received by the agreed date. Any paid deposit will remain non-refundable.

All prices published on this website are subject to change without prior notice. Existing confirmed bookings will not be affected by any price changes.

Monkey Mind Retreats reserves the right to offer concessions and last-minute discounts. This does not automatically entitle other guests to the same concessions or discounts, before or after their bookings have been made.

More than 8 weeks before your retreat start date: 100% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

4 to 8 weeks before your retreat start date: 50% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

Less than 4 weeks before your retreat start date: no refund will be given.

You may cancel your retreat booking at any time, provided the cancellation is made by the person who submitted the booking and is communicated to us in writing. Cancellation takes effect from the date we receive your written request.

Once your retreat has commenced, no refund or partial refund will be made in the event of early departure or cancellation by you.

In the unlikely event that Monkey Mind Retreats is unable to fulfil a retreat booking, we will refund 100% of your payment or offer you an alternative arrangement. Monkey Mind Retreats will not be accountable for flight costs or any other costs incurred outside of the retreat package.

We are exempt from fulfilling our contractual obligations in circumstances that could not have been anticipated and are beyond our control, including acts of God, acts of government, acts of war, pandemics, and other events outside our control. In these instances, the deposit remains non-refundable and non-transferable, and we recommend you refer to your travel insurance policy for reimbursement. If the event occurs less than 14 days before your retreat start date, any balance paid beyond the deposit will be transferred as a credit for use in the following season. We will always endeavour to find a suitable alternative arrangement where possible.

Check-in times vary by retreat and will be confirmed in your booking details. If your room is available earlier, we will happily accommodate you before the stated time. Check-out is at 12:00, but breakfast, luggage storage, and venue amenities remain available to you if your departure is later in the day.

We reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages caused by you or guests within your group during your stay, or identified after check-out where they have not been reported. We kindly request that all damage and breakages are reported to us immediately.

We strongly recommend that all guests have comprehensive travel, cancellation, and medical insurance for the duration of their trip.

For the safety of all guests, no outside persons are permitted on the retreat premises without prior consent from the management team.

Anyone causing excessive disturbance will be given a verbal warning. Continued disruption will result in forfeiture of the booking without refund. We ask that all guests act respectfully and considerately throughout their stay.

Monkey Mind Retreats has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of physical, verbal, or threatening behaviour toward other guests or staff. Guests will be asked to leave the retreat immediately without a refund following any such incident.

Monkey Mind Retreats accepts no responsibility for injury or illness during or after classes, activities, or retreats. We ask every participant to take responsibility for themselves. This includes completing our personal details form and being open and honest with your teachers and facilitators about your medical history. If you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor before booking.

Guests must be respectful and must not engage in offensive, illegal, or immoral acts. Monkey Mind Retreats reserves the right to ask any guest to leave the premises or suspend their participation without compensation if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

We do not accept responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays, changes, or losses caused by acts of God, war, threat of war, airport closures, civil strikes, natural disasters, accidents, or any other events beyond our control. The same applies to guests' injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions developed during or subsequent to the retreat, as well as loss of or damage to personal property.

Monkey Mind Retreats cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of valuable items. We strongly recommend that you do not bring items of significant value to the retreat, and if you do, that you keep them with you at all times.

Monkey Mind Retreats accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, or illness while you are on retreat with us, or for any travel costs to or from the retreat venue.

We accept no responsibility for travel arrangements such as flights or trains. It is solely your responsibility to organise your travel and inform us of your accurate arrival time.

Please check all details of your booking carefully before making payment. After payment has been made, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect information submitted by the guest.

'We' and 'Monkey Mind Retreats' refer to Monkey Mind Retreats. 'Guest' refers to the person who made the booking.

At Monkey Mind Retreats, we take our guests' privacy seriously and adhere to high standards of data protection. All guest information is stored in a secure format, accessible only to reservation and management staff.

All payment transactions are completed through a secure international payment gateway. We do not share guest information with any third parties, except where required by law. Your data is used solely for reservation purposes and, where you have opted in, for future marketing communications from Monkey Mind Retreats.

Monkey Mind Retreats retains all copyright and exclusively owns all photographs and materials displayed on its website. This content may not be copied or used for any other purpose without written permission.

We will not knowingly share your personal information with third parties except where required by authorities. We may contact you from time to time with retreat and programme information.

We accept payment by bank transfer, Stripe, or other methods stated at the time of booking (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro). Please ensure that we receive the full amount stated for your retreat. Any shortfall in payment will be charged to your account.

If for any reason beyond our control there is a venue issue, we will find an alternative location for your retreat of a similar standard.

Due to teacher or facilitator cancellations or other circumstances outside our control, we reserve the right to make changes to our programme. Alternative arrangements will be offered, but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred by guests as a result, including airfare and other travel expenses.
