During our intensive 21-Day-course, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, yogic philosophy & Ayurveda. You'll put theory into practice through daily yoga classes, discussions, and hands-on teaching experience. Who will teach you?

Isabel and Kuldeep will guide and mentor you throughout your training. Despite the challenges posed by Covid, Kuldeep persisted in pursuing his dream of opening a yoga school in Rishikesh, India. He began building his network on Instagram, which led him to connect with Isabel in 2021. After exchanging messages and phone calls, they realized that they shared a vision and decided to organize  Himalayan Hiking Retreats in India. During this adventure, they learned, taught, and honed their skills together. This experience only fueled their passion further, and they set a goal to offer 200-hour yoga teacher trainings in Portugal in 2024 to share their knowledge with more people. Their partnership continues to grow and flourish, and they are excited to bring their unique perspectives and expertise to your training.

Kuldeep Bisht

Kuldeep Bisht is an experienced yoga teacher specializing in Hatha Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga Yinyasa, and Anatomy. His interest in karma yoga started at a young age during his schooling days. Despite his responsibilities as the eldest child in a nuclear family, Kuldeep was curious about spirituality and the purpose of life. He traveled to the Himalayas, visited temples, and communicated with Gurus to gain deeper insights. Afterward, he moved to the south to start his yogi journey. 
Kuldeep studied various yoga practices, including Yoga Philosophy, Hatha Vinyasa Flow, Chair Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Pranayama. He completed a 500 YTTC (Yoga Teacher Training) in an Ashrama in Kerala under the guidance of a highly qualified Acharya. With his deep knowledge and core yoga practice, he started teaching others. 

Since 2022 he has his own Yoga school - Atharv Yogschala in Rishikesh, India.

Kuldeep believes that yoga can only be understood if one is ready to accept the disciplinary rules and regulations. He has been training people from all over the world in 200 & 300 Hours TTC in different yoga schools in India and Nepal for the last couple of years. His goal is to spread awareness of the spiritual aspect and life-changing power of yoga in balancing life. He encourages simplicity in human beings to live life in peace.

Isabel Maria

Isabel Maria is a passionate yoga instructor and entrepreneur with an impressive breadth of experience. Having left her hometown in Germany at a young age, she has lived in Spain, Argentina, Portugal and Germany - speaking four languages! Since 2020, Isabel has been teaching Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Energy Practices, Breathwork and Meditation. She's committed to making these traditional and modern practices accessible for everyone through retreats and workshops around the world. She is a 200 hours ERYT by Yoga Alliance. In 2020 she completed her 200h Teacher Training in Portugal under the guidance of L. Farrah Furtado and expended her learning with the 300h Teacher Training at Delight Yoga Amsterdam under the guidance of Kevin Sahaj and Katiza Satya.

Hugo Abecassis

Hugo Abecassis is a yoga teacher and osteopath who discovered his passion for anatomy through observing the behavior of the human body in yoga. He believes that each person's unique experiences are imprinted in their body, which can be read like a book through postural behavior, traumas, injuries, genetics, and more.
Hugo's interest in yoga began in 2000 when his mother introduced him to the practice. He completed his first yoga teacher training in Portugal in 2005 and has continued to study and practice yoga ever since. He has explored various methods, including Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar, which he felt particularly drawn to due to his therapeutic and medical background. In 2017, Hugo became a certified Iyengar yoga teacher. He has also traveled to India since 2009, seeking inspiration for his life journey. 
Hugo's education includes completing the Yoga Teacher's Training Course at the Yoga Vidya Gurukul school in Kaivalya Nagari, studying Ashtanga Vinyasa at the Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, completing the Iyengar Yoga Teacher's Training with Billy Konrad, studying and practicing with the Iyengar family in Pune, attending yoga therapeutic courses with Stephanie Quirk, and practicing with various teachers worldwide. 
In addition to his yoga studies, Hugo has a post-graduation in Oriental Philosophies from Lisbon University, practices Vipassana meditation, and is a certified senior yoga teacher by the UK Yoga Alliance Professionals. 
Hugo is the founder of the Embodied Yoga Anatomy and the Yoga Functional Anatomy specialized course. Currently, he teaches classes, courses, and workshops primarily in Portugal, but also in Spain, Croatia, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, and Thailand.

Curriculum

The curriculum for this yoga teacher training course covers various topics that will help you to become a well-rounded and knowledgeable yoga instructor. Here are some of the topics that will be covered:

1. Mantra and Mantra Chanting
Mantras are specific sounds and vibrations that have been developed over time to help with physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. In this course, you will learn about the different types of mantras and how they can be used for different purposes. 


2. Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga is a classic ancient yoga technique that has been taught for thousands of years by great Himalayan gurus. You will learn the traditional techniques in this course, which can be adapted to suit the strength and flexibility of each student.


3. Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Vinyasa is a modern form of classical Indian yoga developed by K. Pattabhi Jois in the mid-20th century. In this course, you will learn the first series of Ashtanga yoga systematically, and a manual will be provided to the school containing more details. 


4. Pranayama (Breathing Practices)
Pranayama is a practice that uses breath as a medium to reach the highest state of consciousness. In this class, you will learn about the significance of pranayama in a yogi's life and how it can lead to a life full of peace, happiness, and good health. Different techniques of Pranayama will be practiced every week to achieve different states of experience. 


5. Meditation (Dhyana)
Meditation is an important aspect of yoga practice. In this course, you will learn how to meditate through concentration, and with more practice, you will be introduced to various other techniques from basic to intermediate level. 


6. Yoga Nidra (Psychic Sleep)
Yoga Nidra is a practice of sleeping in awareness that takes you from a conscious state to a superconscious state of awareness. This is the most natural way of sleeping, and in this course, you will learn how to shut out the five senses so the mind can attain pratyahara. 


7. Yoga Cleansing (Shatkarma)
Shatkarma is a series of six types of cleansing activities that help with physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual cleansing. You will be taught these practices in your 200-hour yoga teacher training course. 


8. Yoga Philosophy (Yoga Darshana)
Yoga philosophy is the real essence of yoga. In this course, you will be introduced to hundreds of yogic texts, which will take you on a great journey of knowledge and understanding of life. 


9. Anatomy and Physiology (Sharir Vijnan)
Yoga anatomy is the study of how yoga affects the anatomy of the human body, both on a physical and spiritual level. In this course, you will learn about the important subjects for yoga practitioners. 


10. Yoga Therapy
Yoga is a holistic science that affects the mind, body, and soul. In this course, you will learn how to use yoga as a therapy to heal naturally. 


11. Ayurveda
Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga that believes in the balance and imbalance of three Doshas (Vata, pitta, and Kapha) that make a person either healthy or ill. In this course, you will learn the basics of Ayurveda to help you with proper health management. 


12. Mudra
Mudras are the divine gestures that channel and distribute prana in the body. In this course, you will learn about the different types of mudras and their benefits. 


13. Bandha (Energy Lock)
Bandhas are used to control and maintain the energy or prana in the body to prevent it from draining. In this course, you will learn about the three bandhas and their proper preparatory techniques.

14. Teaching methodology
It is not enough to learn and practice yoga to be a great yoga teacher. Teaching yoga is an art as it can change
lives so a lot of preparation and skills go into it.
